Gordon Setter pups at Fall Bright, Tom Mitchell
607-292-3995 evenings or message
The litter consisted of 8 pups. The first three female pups were sold for
pets. It was a tough job but the litter was carefully screened and the 3 pups
showing the least pointing instinct at 7 weeks were selected for the purchasers
to choose from. The fourth pup, a male, was sold as a hunting dog, a very
outgoing pup with a tall tail.
Pup #1 Tom could not bear to sell Parker, so he is ours. Male currently
named "Parker". Born the largest and stayed the largest.
Conformation: Fairly large-boned, well proportioned, nice head, handles his size
well, coordinated, nice run, tail carriage (1:30 to 3:00), handsomely marked,
bright and sharp color borders, medium brown eyes. Demeanor: precocious,
intelligent, eager to please and be pleased, excellent personality and a
laid-back disposition. He doesn’t mind working for something he wants. Shows a
lot of interest in anything new. Will boldly explore new covers. If you show
this dog what you want he’ll deliver and then some.
Projected adult size: 50-60 lb. Parker is not for sale.
He is a big, handsome dog with natural retrieving characteristics. With
training he'll be a retrieving Gordon. Parker impressed Tom while
hunting in South Dakota this year by honoring his mother's point. He was a
hunting fool...

Parker, 17 weeks, likes to carry things around.
Pup #2 Female currently named L. C. Smith, "LC". "Elsie".
LC has been sold. She is the largest female.
Conformation: Average bone structure, very well proportioned, beautiful and
elegant head, a lot of fun to watch this pup (she moves very well), exceptional
run for a pup this age, tail carriage (12:00 to 1:00), nicely marked (darker)
interesting black markings on fore-legs and feet, medium brown eyes. Demeanor:
Intelligent, cautious yet inquisitive, somewhat soft, nice personality an
excellent people dog yet independent. She pulls the plug when she is after
something she wants. Readily explores new cover.
Projected adult size: 45-55 lb.

Pup #4 Female currently named "Queen". One of the moderate
sized females in this litter Conformation: Moderately fine boned, nicely
proportioned, very nice head, good run, tail carriage(12:00 to 1:00), nicely
marked (darker), medium brown eyes intense. Demeanor: Dominant
(bossy to other litter mates), very inquisitive, likes one-on-one attention,
boldly explores while keeping track of the boss, intense. Attitude-let’s go do
it. This one has the potential to make the hair on the back of your neck standup
when she points (have seen her lean right in to it with tail at 12:00 straight
as a string). She is steady to point and held for a minute when timed. She
will be a hunting fool. She seems somewhat aloof from her littermates. Her
registered name will be Boss and Company. Queen and Parker both
enjoyed a fall hunting trip to South Dakota and did well.. Queen will
be Tom's (new) personal hunting and breeding dog, since we lost her mama
Genie to a road accident in the spring. Queen is so identical
to Genie, she has the honor of wearing Genie's blue collar.
Adult size 40 lb.
Queen Class act hunter
Pup #3 Female currently named "Annie". One of the moderate sized
females in the litter. Annie has been sold.
Conformation: Moderately fine boned, well-proportioned, nice head, fair run,
tail carriage (12:30 to 1:30), very handsomely marked (bright and sharp color
borders), melting medium brown eyes. Demeanor: Dominant, very inquisitive, very
people oriented (she loves attention), a bit reserved in new cover - cautiously
explores but goes after what she wants – likes to work close to the boss.
Thrives on praise.
Projected adult size 40 to 45 lb.
