  • In 1982 we, Tom and Marcy Mitchell, along with Tom Jr., Megan and Corlin, began re-planting our farm to grape varieties that were or would be in demand by amateur winemakers. To date there are 10 acres of premium grape varieties on Hyatt Hill including  7 Vinifera, 6 French Hybrids, and 4 American plus 4 table grape varieties.

  • Tom wants to retire from grape growing.  The Hyatt Hill farm is half of our grape acreage with the shop (Fall Bright) in the middle of it.  We have Jim and Mark Moon for the real estate task of selling the vineyard and shop.

  • June 24, 2011, our vineyards look the best they have in years.  Tom is paying attention to details in the vineyard.  Do not let the for sale signs discourage you from doing business with us.  Vines have been balanced pruned (by hand), tied, suckered, top suckered, fruit thinned where needed.  Pre bloom sprays are on.  Weed control is in place.   Riesling have had their first and second tucking, weaving the fast growing canes up support wires.  Other varieties requiring catch wires have been positioned.  This positioning and tucking will continue during the summer.

  • The shop is in full supply of winemaking supplies for the amateur winemaker.  Our hours are limited this summer to Friday and Saturday, but orders placed online will be shipped promptly.

  • This vineyard site was first planted to grapes in 1865 and though the varieties that grow now are not of those original vines, it has been continuously worked.  Established in 1977, Pa'tridge Run Farms is a family owned one generation vineyard dedicated to growing quality wine grapes and providing quality juices for the amateur winemaker. The vineyard surrounds the barn that houses Fall Bright, which we opened in 1978.

We have ten acres of additional vineyard on Dutch St and it is not for sale with the Hyatt Hill vineyard and Fall Bright.  The Dutch St. farm is for lease.

Vineyard equipment is not included with the sale of the vineyard., but the processing equipment is.
